This will help you know over time how to maintain your saw and keep it working the best it can overtime. The better you take care of your tools as you use them over the years. The less chance of accidents happening due to your tool not being maintained properly.
The most important thing…every tool comes with a user manual and you should 100% read through before you use it. It will teach you all about the parts it has and how those work. You will also learn the safety features built into your saw that could very well help you avoid major injuries when using.

The other alternative is not nearly as affordable but offers even more precision on long straight cuts. It is called a Track Saw. Many Circular Saw makers offer their version of it now.
